Grew up in Ridgway Pennsylvania… 10 minutes down the road for Owner Joe Beimel. Was a 4 sport athlete in high school before committing to play his college ball at the University of Pittsburgh.
While at Pitt faced numerous injuries early in his career there that really paved the way for his deep dive into how the body and arm works when it comes to pitching and throwing at an elite level. In his Junior season, Josh would go on to appear in 17 games in 2017 making 16 starts… both are school records at Pitt. Later that summer Josh would be selected in the 22nd of the MLB Draft by the Kansas City Royals.
After spending 4 years with Royals Josh would then be selected in the Rule 5 draft by the Minnesota Twins where he would finish out the rest of his career. After training alongside Joe for 5 months he would then take the Role of Director of Player Development in Los Angeles.
