Coach Garza joined BEA Texas in the summer of 2023, bringing his expertise as a certified arm care specialist and media/showcase personnel.
His coaching journey commenced at New Mexico Military Institute, his alma mater, where he served as the outfielder and first base coach from 2012 to 2017. Under the leadership of Head Coach Chris Cook, Coach Garza played a pivotal role in orchestrating the program’s resurgence, culminating in their first regional appearance in over six decades with the 2016 Bronco squad.
Tasked with recruiting efforts in West Texas, El Paso, and Arizona, Coach Garza relocated to El Paso, Texas. In 2019, he joined René Solis at Ysleta High School as pitching coach, contributing to the team’s district contention and three playoff runs in five years. Throughout his tenure, Coach Garza has been committed to fostering a culture of excellence and development on and off the field.
